This is my personal website, which serves to consolidate my online presence and provide some information on my work, research and other interests. I recently completed and defended my PhD, which I worked towards during my time at the University of Southampton and whilst working at my current employer, Waterfall Solutions Limited. In my spare time, I am a very keen photographer and used to run a formal photography business, whilst at university.
The focus of my PhD was on three-dimensional gait recognition, and involved the construction of a multi-viewpoint video acquisition system and the collection of a large non-contact multi-biometric dataset, featuring over two-thousand samples from two-hundred subjects. It was found that it was possible to correctly identify all samples within the dataset, without the need for complex analysis or classification techniques.
